This once small, outdated bathroom was completely reimagined into a jewel-box retreat inspired by Parisian Art Deco glamour. Through a thoughtful re-floorplan, the space was transformed to maximize both impact and flow, creating a moment of immediate drama upon entry.

The soaking tub and custom beveled, leaded glass window were intentionally aligned directly across from the door, anchoring the room with symmetry and light. Backlit onyx wraps the bathtub and countertops, casting a soft, luminous glow that elevates the space from functional to extraordinary. Unlacquered brass accents appear throughout, developing a living patina that adds warmth and authenticity.

Reeded glass and brass shower doors -topped with operable transoms- enclose an aromatherapy, steam shower of onyx and dimensional marble tile, blending authentic Art Deco design with modern indulgence.

A selenite starburst mirror resting on backlit onyx brings a sculptural focal point above the vanity, paired with rock crystal sconces and cabinet hardware. A bespoke brass pocket door embellished with walnut monocles was custom-made by artisans in Portugal.

Custom marble floors ground the design, while overhead, a Murano glass chandelier provides a final layer of Parisian drama, reflecting light across stone, glass, and brass. Every element was carefully curated to ensure the bath feels seamless within the home’s French architecture, timeless, refined, and effortlessly luxurious.

The onyx inside the concave makeup vanity was hand-painted by Italian artisans to replicate the look of onyx slab countertops. Storage for hairdryer and toiletries hides behind pull-out cabinets to the right of the vanity.

This master bathroom is no longer simply a utilitarian space, but a destination: intimate, radiant, and unapologetically elegant.
